When designer Jessie Randall's new fall/winter lookbook arrived a few days ago, we swear, we tried to focus on the clothes. But it's Loeffler Randall we're talking about here! And as much as we fancy Randall's ready-to-wear, it's still so all about her shoes for us. Classics like the Matilde boot now come outfitted with buckles and their snap pump is covered in thick sexy straps. But the great thing about Randall is that she designs pieces you can actually hold on to for more than one season. Mary-Janes, for example, are so everyday, yet they come in an eye-catching candy-apple red patina adorned with a pinked edge. The same approach comes through in her ready-to-wear. Yes, it's classic. But feminine touches like blouson sleeves on coats or the beautifully repetitive loops on skirts and blouses elevate staple pieces beyond the mundane. But now, back to those bad-ass boots.
