Sweet Escape: Built By Wendy's Spring Collection

comments

We've always adored designer Wendy Mullin, and her line, catchily entitled Built by Wendy, but her spring '11 collection may have deepened our sentiment to love. Evoking feelings of new adventures as well as fond nostalgia, Mullin masters beautiful basics that have a distinctly beachy and sun-drenched feel. With relaxed button-downs, nautically striped dresses, full-tiered skirts, rolled trousers and side-tie dresses, we want to pack up our suitcases full of these pastel colored pieces and head for the Mediterranean—Santorini, pretty please. We can see nothing but fun in our future in the chambray, dotted cropped skirt or the Swiss dot pleat shirt, whether soaking up the sun or swaying the night away. It wouldn't be amiss to change her name to Wendy Darling—Neverland certainly never felt so close.
