How did you start Miansai? And why?
"I began MIANSAI out of my apartment during college. I took some antique collectables lying around and turned them into something to wear. At the time, it was impossible to find something I'd both want to wear daily and wasn't over the top. I'm very picky. People really liked it and I began to make and sell my pieces. Even during my final year, I was already selling to some of the finest stores around the world. After graduation, I officially set up shop in the Design District and have been growing ever since."
