This Color-Changing Dress Is Like A Mood Ring…For Your Body

Can't quite figure out how to express yourself? We get it. Sometimes, words just aren't enough. And at those times, you may want to consider Studio Roosegaarde's high-tech invention — a dress that's meant to turn transparent based on your encounters with others.
"Social interactions determine the garmentsʼ levels of transparency, creating a sensual play of disclosure," explains a quote on the brand's site. Given that clarity is determined by the wearer's heartbeat, we'd say it's less than "daringly perfect to wear on the red carpet," as its Netherlands-based creators claim...let alone on a first date, a business meeting (um, maybe with a blazer?), or a night on the town. But, if making a statement is what you want, at least you'll find comfort in knowing it's made out of winter-resistent leather and avant-garde smart e-foils.

Other reasons you might want to wear this prototype: as a taste gauger (how do you really feel about that kale salad?), an excitement detector (how psyched are you to go to the dentist?), proof you're not faking it in the bedroom...the list goes on. (CNN)
