The Beat Goes On: New York's 88BoaDrum's Performance Was Bangin'
As a encore to last year's 77BoaDrum legendary success, the Nike-sponsored 88BoaDrum at the Williamsburg Waterfront upped the game on 8/08/08 with 88 drummers (think Animal Collective, A.R.E. Weapons, Japanther), starting at 8:08pm, and performing an 88 minute long piece composed by the Boredoms and led by Gang Gang Dance. With inspiring street style in abundance, we figured drum's the word.
