Peek-A-Boo: Flipping Out Over Flip-Up Shades

After seeing Annika, captured by both the Face Hunter and Street Peeper in London, we got to thinking how if geek glasses are all the rage, it seems appropriate to incorporate the shade factor in an equally quirky way. And seeing her rock her pair of Mickey Mouse-meets-dystopia sunglasses (Jeremy Scott made a similar pair as well), we got nostalgic for a pair of flip-up shades of our own. Ebay has some great steals, but Mosley Tribes has done their own take on the idea. For spring/resort 09, a design called the Gates comes in primary colors and has the entire shaded lens flipping up, which we think is not so much quirky as just coolly convenient.
