Cyclopes on the Street: Peeping Margiela Wraparound Shades
Star Trek's Geordi La Forge, X-men's Cyclops, my grandmother while driving—as Susannah Frankel wrote recently in the Independent, "Everyone who's anyone in fashion…wears Margiela." Okay, so maybe the futuristic space explorers, mutant superheros, and senior citizens-about-town don't actually wear Martin Margiela or work in fashion per se, but they do don trademark banded shades that are reminiscent of the fashion set's current favorite Margiela design: L'Icognito sunglasses. But don't let the name fool you, it's hard to hide behind these instantly-recognizable, transfixing statement sunnies. They've caught the eye of numerous street photographers we've rounded up for you here.
