Copenhagen Street Style Snaps Up the Best Local Looks at Fashion Week

There's no doubt about it: Scandinavians have a great sense of style. So, we're always eager to see what our friends Jenny and Søren from the fantastic site Copenhagen Street Style are gathering up during their local travels. As you can imagine, Copenhagen Fashion Week draws out the very best of the Street Style lot, so we asked our dynamic duo to choose their favorite looks from around town during the shows. With New York Fashion Week right around the corner, you know we're taking notes!

Veneda: Photographed outside the Brickism opening, she managed to wear not one but three of the most hyped trends at Copenhagen Fashion Week (zipper-details, black slouchy bag, and the Acne Atacoma wedges), all at once without looking like she's trying too hard. Her "over-knee" socks (which isn't really over-the-knee because she has the longest legs J) gives the look a young and fresh feeling. Enlarge Image

Ellinor: Photographed outside the Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair show at the City Hall. Ellinor is probably one of Scandinavia's most street-style-photograped women. She always stays true to her Swedish roots in outfits with clean, simple lines, sharp tailoring and minimalistic styles. She is the epitome of Scandinavian coolness, and she manages to add drama with her wood bangles and her rock-inspired rings. Enlarge Image

Caroline (left): Caroline, also photographed outside the Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair-show, is one-half of Stockholm Street Style and we love the way she teams her studded black skirt with a white T-shirt. Her angelic face and simple garment is the perfect contrast to the skirt. Enlarge Image

Silas (right): Silas, the designer behind young Copenhagen brand Soulland was caught outside the opening of the Andreas Emenius exhibition at Wonderland Art Space. Silas is wearing his own spring/summer 10-collection. The new collection is more tailored than ever before and has really cool accessories such as the gradient bag and this great hat. His style (both his designs and his own) has become more grown-up and experimental. Silas very well might be one of the best-dressed men in Copenhagen today. Enlarge Image

Emilie: Emilie was also photographed outside the exhibition-opening of Andreas Emenius. Her look somehow seemed refreshing after seeing everybody wearing Wang bags and Surface2Air-wedges all week. Her relaxed cool hipster look combined with her cool owl necklace made her stand out in the crowd. Enlarge Image

copenhagen-street-style-rune-a.jpg

Rune (left): Rune was photographed outside the Spon Diogo-show, and he is so creative. He's one of those people who doesn't give a damn about fashion conventions and manages to look super-cool and stylish at the same time. We love the way he combined his vintgage-looking blazer with patent shoes, socks, fan and suspenders without looking over-the-top. Enlarge Image

Pholoso (right): Stylist Pholoso, photographed outside the Spon Diogo-show, might be one of the only women in the world who can make flip-flops seem really stylish and almost elegant. Pholoso was amazingly dressed every single day of Fashion Week, but we loved her loose-fitting and colorful look in this picture—it was nothing like the head-to-toe rock-chic look everyone else was wearing. Icelandic Girl: If there's one woman who can get away with wearing an oversize Harlequin-dress and crazy-shoes it's this Icelandic woman who was photographed outside the opening of the Brickism-exhibition at cult store Wood Wood in Krystalgade. Enlarge Image
