While a lot of major home-grown designers keep trying to deconstruct the formula for young, chic American clothing, Steven Alan seems to have nailed it. His men's and women's collections have steadily grown over the years from his cornerstone suiting, button-downs, and shirt-dresses into an entire world of relaxed and wearable luxury. And this latest fall '11 delivery was right on cue.
