Take A Tour Of Stag’s Lunchette — Oakland’s New Woodsy-Chic Eatery

There’s no denying that Oakland’s bubbling Uptown district is getting livelier by the instant — just ask the New York Times. With a string of new restaurant and bar openings, it’s quickly becoming one of the Bay’s coolest enclaves. Well, now it can add another standout establishment to its expanding roster. Stag’s Lunchette, a lovely new breakfast and lunch spot, just popped up and we got a sneak peek at the small, woodsy eatery.
Owned by the same peeps that brought us the bourbon- and meat-centric haven Dogwood, this rustic-themed resto serves up everything from mind-blowing pastrami sandwiches to the cult-followed Doughnut Dolly. But, it’s not just the noms that are ultra-impressive — we’re pretty smitten with the farmhouse-style interior, too. Want to see for yourself? Click through for our snaps of Stag’s Lunchette and get your booty to the East Bay to check it out, stat.
Stag's Lunchette, 362 17th Street (between Franklin and Webster streets), Oakland; No phone.
