Rain, Don't Go Away: Color-Changing Umbrellas
Well, well, well, look what we have here: a reason to get on the same side as Mother Nature, when it comes to gloomy, drizzly weather, courtesy of SquidLondon. The UK brand has released a line of Squidarella Color Changing Umbrellas (in "Bird Splash" no less), that are a much-needed alternative to those cheapo, janky, $2 options the scary-looking dudes hawk on the corner of Canal and fail. As the name suggests, these drizzle-busters change hues during downpours — as it gets wetter the Jackson Pollack-like pattern transforms from white to electric blues, greens, and oranges. Plus, the Squidarella also comes with a shoulder-strap carrying case, so function and form can weather the weather together. For $38, we think this psychedelic trip comes cheap.
