Speak Up: The Newest WeHo Mural Is Based On Your Opinions

This is where you live, and now is the time for your voice to be heard. Shepard Fairey, a well-known street and graphic artist, is planning to paint a mural at the new West Hollywood Library, but not without your insight. Fairey will create the mural as a reflection of a survey asking participants about the iconography of the city. Fairey believes in a democratic method of designing and creating the mural. His vision is to include the point-of-view of anyone willing to speak up about their own West Hollywood. Let your voice be heard and look out for the finished product in the Fall when the library opens on San Vincent and Santa Monica. (Mondette)
