A little Southern hospitality goes a long way. I learned that a few weeks ago when designer Katie Kime invited me down to her home in Austin to celebrate the launch of her first brick-and-mortar store.

Together with the lifestyle blogger Camille Styles, Kime treated a lively group of Austinites (and a few #blessed Big Apple editors) to Tex-Mex and mimosas — not to mention a smattering of adorable pink pineapples.
