Rumor Mill: Courtney Love To Be The Next Celeb Designer?
Courtney Love has been looking better lately—she got herself some platinum extensions, did a few sit-ups, and even started Twittering (though we have yet to actually understand a word of it). So logically, the next step in her 12-step process was the launch of her own clothing line (because edge-wise, what does Alex Wang have on the most notorious hot mess ever?). According to the the ever-reliable Peaches Geldof, during their latest sleep-over, Ms. Love revealed (over chocolate cake, no less) that she is busy at work on her new designs and plans on rocking the fashion world with ribbed body suits, cashmere harem pants, and a ruby stitched into every outfit. Now, this isn't the first time Court has voiced her intent to design clothes—back in February she told The Fashion Informer that unlike most celebrity designers, she was uniquely qualified because, other than stripping, her first job was as an assistant in the wardrobe department at Paramount. So rest assured ladies, those rubies will be stitched on mighty tight. (Grazia)
