A New Website Has New York City's Fashion World At Your Fingertips
We're pretty serious activists here at Refinery29.com...okay, well, fashion activists, that is. And after going on a recent crusade to Save Fashion, we're ready to take on a new cause. And what with all this hoopla about the Garment District disappearing lately, we think it wasn't a moment too soon that NYCfashioninfo.com came along. The new website not only helps designers look for local production and distribution facilities right here in the city (for beautiful, sweatshop-free clothes), but it also provides comprehensive New York Fashion Week and Market Week schedules and showroom contacts, as well as transportation schedules. Which means that if you're a buyer living somewhere other than New York (hard to imagine, we know), you now have one less reason to drag your feet on coming to visit us. Ikram Goldman, won't you come to Market this time around?
