While the main draw of Turkey Day is obviously, well, the turkey, the highlight of the rest of the weekend is the shopping. If you're in tryptophan-induced haze to early bird it to Black Friday, then the more leisurely Small Business Saturday is right up your alley. Consider this our friendly reminder to you to support all things local in your quest for savings-account depletion — our amazing lineup of mom-and-pop shops are what makes D.C. so special, so it's up to us to make sure they keep on thriving. Here are five DMV hot spots we're planning to hit — we'll see you there!

Fenton Street Market
Venture out to Silver Spring for an ahhh-dorable lineup of crafts and antiques. The market will be hosting a special holiday exhibition, with over 75 local vendors hawking everything from clothes and jewelry to toys and baked goodies. Check out the entire lineup here, and start planning your attack method.
Where: Veteran's Plaza (Fenton Street and Ellsworth Drive), Silver Spring; no phone.

Hugh & Crye
In case you can't make it out for Black Friday, this local menswear line will be previewing a brand-new collection of shirts and ties on Saturday. Pick up some gifts for your man, or bring him along for the shopping.
Where: 3212 O Street NW; 202-250-3807.

Nana
While the entire selection at this chic shop is awe-inspiring, the real draw is the in-house line designed by owner Jackie Flanagan. The vintage-inspired pieces are all eco-friendly and oh-so-gorgeous.
Where: 3068 Mount Pleasant Street; 202-667-6955.

Proper Topper
This Dupont Circle boutique is your one-stop-shop for all kinds of unique gifts. The selection includes goodies like picture frames, winter accessories, jewelry, and cute-and-quirky tchotchkes. Can you say Secret Santa all-star?
Where: 1350 Connecticut Avenue NW; 202-842-3055.

Tabletop
It's easy to get caught up in stocking your wardrobe this holiday season, but don't forget to give your apartment a little love, too. Tabletop has anything a home decor fiend could want — perfect for treating yourself, or gifting a newly engaged or married couple.
Where: 1608 20th Street NW; 202-387-7117.
