5 Days Of Sleeping 10 Hours A Night

Follow R29's Lucie Fink as she dives headfirst into social experiments — five days at a time.

We know we should get seven to eight hours of sleep a night — but it's hard! Most of us sacrifice sleep for our social lives, and have definitely spent plenty of days running on four hours of sleep. Guess what, folks? We can all tell.

As we get older, that spring in our step is harder to retain without sleep. Remember 19-year-old you, who could stay up all night finishing your paper? That sounds like torture now.

Watch as Lucie adds extra time to her alarm clock and learns about the importance of catching all the ZZZs.
