About The Brand
Sedgwick is the brainchild of Carly Beck, a former sales executive and brand director for Steven Alan and Diane von Furstenberg, and Ashley Baker, executive editor of The Daily Front Row. These two Kansas natives decided to start a handbag line (named after the county they grew up in) that was not only timelessly chic but practical and cost-effective, too. And because the Sedgwick ladies like to keep things close to home, each obsession-worthy handbags is handmade in NYC’s own Garment District. How’s that for local love?
