About The Brand
After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design, Shana Alrich Ready began her career as a budding apparel designer in NYC and Boston. Soon, though, she realized her real passion was back in her hometown in Maine. Inspired by her frequent trips to the beach with her son, Shana began crafting handmade accessories from natural marine ropes and hardware. And just like that her gorgeous traditional-meets-high-style collection, The Ropes, was born.
