We already alerted you to the opening of Fred Flare's store in Greenpoint, so we thought it apropos to offer a shopping guide to the a charming its oh-so-cute and oh-so-affordable stock (think along the lines of hard-to-come-by Japanese imports, locally crafted jewelry, and flirty, youthful clothing lines.) First on our list is a quirky camera disguised as a pretty vintage book&mdsah;perfect for those undercover photo ops. While you're at it, pick up a hungry panda calendar to rest on your desk, or a Brooklyn souvenir tote as a token of your weekend adventures. The store inventory also includes special baubles by jewelry designers Kiel Mead and Anna Sabino--pieces like "forget me knot" rings and fourteen-karat pretzel charms make for sweet accessories. To top it all off, our favorite Karen Walker-esq shades are in abundance, not to mention loads of plaid mini-dresses, high-waisted skirts, and blousey bow tops to round out your fall wardrobe. Who could resist snatching such one-stop-shopping cuteness now that that this fashion candy store is just a G-train ride away?
