For years, designer Shelly Steffee has flown somewhat under the radar, but after a walk through her latest fall/winter collection, we think maybe her time has come for some bigger notice. Her luxe-modern designs have been channeled this season through an equine-obsessed's eye, with horse inspiration coming from every angle. There were jackets fashioned with saddle-shaped edges, divine reinvented breeches, complete with leather patches, and beautiful headpieces reminiscent of reins. Moreso, we found comfort in her impeccable, heavy cardigan sweaters, pretty pencil dresses, and countless clever jackets and overcoats, all signature strengths.
