Fashionable Feline: The Frisky, Deadly Chic of Cat People

The 1982 film remake of Cat People stars Nastassja Kinski as Irina, a waifish werecat in New Orleans who mutates into a black panther when feeling lusty. While trying to remain chaste and avoid ancestrally incestuous kin, Irina looks sexily frustrated in one seriously incompatible romance.

Fashion Fetish: Irina's 80's prep style of a short, side-parted Human League coif, pearl earrings, ankle-tie espadrilles, boatneck stripes, bra-less loose knits and paper bag waist denim is flirty and sweet.
