So often, travel editorials can look cheesy—think exotic shots of a pretty model in Dolce frolicking with sad-looking natives in loin cloths. But Steven Meisel knows how to do it right, at least when it comes to this painterly, ancient-looking editorial from this month's Vogue Italia. Sasha Pivovarova does a series of odalisque poses in what is supposed to be Morocco, and shows us that harem pants can look sexy! Well, at least, when you're traveling by camelback wandering the desert with garlands of jewels upon your person and man slaves at your disposal.
