Sarah Palin Considering 2016 Presidential Run

Somewhere (we hope), Tina Fey is practicing that famous up-do and Alaskan accent.  Former VP nominee Sarah Palin said she's "seriously interested" in running for president, in an interview with the The Washington Post before a recent GOP summit. "You can absolutely say that I am seriously interested," she told the newspaper on Friday, hours before speaking at the Iowa Freedom Summit in Des Moines. It's hardly the first time Palin has expressed interest in heading up the White House. She told ABC News on Thursday that "of course" she's interested in a presidential run. "Yeah, I mean, of course, when you have a servant's heart, when you know that there is opportunity to do all you can to put yourself forward in the name of offering service, anybody would be interested," the former Alaska governor said in the interview. Palin was the Republican party's vice president nominee in the 2008 election, running alongside John McCain against President Barack Obama. She was famously skewered by Tina Fey's dead on impression of her on Saturday Night Live, and was played by Julianne Moore in HBO's film about the 2008 Presidential election, Game Change. If she does indeed run for president, one thing is for sure: It would be pretty amazing to watch a debate between Palin and Hillary Clinton (although we've kind of already seen that), another woman who we'll be watching out for in 2016.
