Bay Area Cities Ranked Wealthiest In The Nation

embed
If chasing paper is your number one goal as of late (and who can blame you with these rent prices?) you don’t have to run very far to earn some major chunks of change. According to a report conducted by the real estate website, Trulia, San Jose denizens are raking in the dough 34% more than the rest of the nation. Does this news have you feeling the economic pinch all of a sudden? Don’t get too jealous just yet, San Francisco came in second, followed by Oakland clocking in at number five. Holla!
This list compared residents of the Bay with others across the States that had similar backgrounds, skills, and experiences — meaning those outside our neck of the woods, who work just as hard, will have lighter pockets automatically. So, if you were considering getting out of Dodge and starting anew elsewhere, you might want to second-guess that voyage...well, until you start comparing the cost of living in the respective parts, too. We're just crossing our fingers that a Rich Kids of Silicon Valley reality show won’t air on our small screens anytime soon.
