A Stellar Styling Duo Shows Off Its Modern Novato Pad
There’s nothing quite like a put-together power couple to give us an instant spark of inspiration. Dolce & Gabbana, Ray and Charles Eames, Yoko and John — we really fancy ourselves a dynamic duo ‘round here. And if the trusty adage that good things come in pairs proves true, you are in for a very special treat.
Because nothing is quite as aww-inducing as a creative couple collaborating on their craft, we booked it up north to Novato to seek out the husband-and-wife styling team of Jasmine Hamed and Justin Segall. The hip Marin residents work as one to outfit a slew of bodies for top-notch clients like Adidas, BMW, and Sephora, and, naturally, their pad is just as expertly styled. To prove it, we took a tour of their modern casa, lush garden, and eye-catching closets. Prepare for a heavy dose of California dreaming.

West Elm Hits The Road & Heads To Marin For Its Summer Catalog
Anyone who’s driven along the super-scenic Highway 1 knows that the lush stretch of Northern California coast is about as glorious as it gets. Not only does the unpolluted redwood-meets-oceanic backdrop serve as a nice respite from city living, but it continually provides a point of inspiration for artists and designers alike.
And it looks like the peeps over at West Elm took to the turf to soak in the scenery. The home brand headed to the gorgeous Stinson Beach and Mount Tam in Marin to marvel at the sights and sounds for their summer catalog — and we have the images to prove it. With crazy-pretty pics of everything representative of NorCal — like a sun-soaked campsite and an eclectic table-scape on the beach — these awe-inspiring snaps are truly meant to be taken in. Um, could summer get here already?!

Office Porn! Check Out The Bold Italic's New Jazzed-Up Workspace
Can't get enough voyeuristic peeks into local home and workspaces? Obviously, we're in the same boat. That's why we were extra-hyped that the folks over at California Home + Design rolled up at the newly revamped headquarters of website The Bold Italic to take (and snap) a little tour. The office-slash-event space was designed by Workshop S.F.'s head DIY master, Kelly Malone, who gave several local artisans "$100 challenges" to create crafty and functional pieces for the Civic Center locale. One of our favorite results: A room divider made up of hundreds of classic Number 2 pencils glued to a wall!
And, of course, there's more where that came from. Peep the rest of the inventive space here. Then, take a look around your own office (or, ahem, table) and get ready to get creative!

Surf 'N Turf: S.F.'s Coolest Artist Couple Shows Off Their Beachside Crib
Think waking up and hitting the Ocean Beach waves, drinking java at Trouble Coffee, grubbing at epically tasty Outerlands, and then making some utterly rad art in an equally awesome setting is the stuff of dreams? Us, too. But for one of S.F.'s coolest artist couples, architect Jay Nelson and fine artist and stylist Rachel Kaye, it's actually the stuff of pure reality. The two Outer Sunset dwellers and CCA grads invited us into their extra-upgraded beach shack a few blocks from the ocean (they share the property with Outerlands' owners), as well as their studio space, housed in a revamped barn, to give us a glimpse into their work-home lives. Both spaces are anchored by a common aesthetic that is totally original and goes hand-in-hand with the feel of their beachside 'hood. Want to see what effortless cool is all about? Click through for a serious dose of inspiration.

The 6 Downright Dreamiest Florists in S.F.!
While we'd never complain (too loudly) about receiving
flowers for Valentine's Day, there's also really nothing that says
"lack of imagination" quite like a dozen long-stemmed red roses, most
likely bought at the corner store on the way home. Of course, we all
know by now that sometimes to get what you really want, you have to do
some of the research for your sweetie, which is precisely what we've
done right here. After the jump, we've rounded up the most stellar of
local florists and, along with them, their dreamiest creations that
are anything but meh-inducing basic. From bountiful numbers featuring
lush accessories (ostrich feathers, anyone?) to the most romantic
