What about your real-life inspiration? What are some things that inspire
you offline?
"I’m a magazine hoarder, and I never get tired of revisiting some of my old ones. I also love sneaking my dog into bookstores, and occupying a
space on the floor under the design books. I could sit there with him by my
side and pour over these beautiful books for hours. I’ve always found a lot
of inspiration in music, as well. My husband has a great vinyl collection, and
most nights we just talk and listen to music."
Do you think your real-life inspiration has a direct impact on what you
choose to pin?
"Absolutely! I’m always seeking out beauty. I can’t get enough vibrant
imagery. I think that’s why I fell in love with Pinterest instantly. I knew it
was going to be the place to store and share everything I was passionate
about."
Let’s talk pinning etiquette. What’s the one thing that drives you
bonkers?
"Mean comments that are mean for the sake of being mean. I can handle
harsh criticism or thoughtful disagreements, but I can’t stand random drive-by word dumps. I pin what I find personally inspiring. If you don’t like it, feel
free to engage in a meaningful conversation about it, or move on."
All smiles!
