Wilson and Wilson at Bourbon and Branch
Speakeasies in these parts seem like a dime a dozen, but no one does clandestine undercover den quite like Wilson and Wilson, which is actually a speakeasy within a speakeasy, concealed inside Bourbon and Branch. For entrance, all would-be tipplers must go to the website and register; it’s also a sure sign your date has carefully planned a night to remember (lucky you!), since no one can get in without a prior reservation. Once inside, you’ll be greeted with a dossier containing a menu of creative cocktails, made with handmade tinctures and bitters. We suggest plying him with the Truth Serum (a concoction of Highland Park whisky, Amaro Nonino, brown sugar cinnamon syrup, sarsaparilla aromatic bitters, and licorice root) to see what his intentions really are!
505 Jones Street (at O'Farrell Street); no phone.
