When you're designing your line, where do you pull inspiration?
"Inspiration can find me at any moment, so I always have to have my eyes open. I put myself in unique situations and places, and I always try to have an open mind. Sometimes I get the opportunity to travel abroad, and it’s amazing to see what people are wearing in other parts of the world and then reinterpret it through the eyes of a New Yorker. If I can’t go far, I wander around places like the Metropolitan Museum of Art or I bury myself in books in search of new ideas."
