The Aveda concept salon on U Street is hosting a styling event benefitting AHOPE for Children, a charity that provides housing, education, and health services to Ethiopian orphans.

Besides a serious case of the warm and fuzzies, you'll get one-on-one time with a stylist who can help you spruce up just in time for the holidays — whether that means a new hairstyle, a mani, a massage, or a makeup consultation. All you have to do is decide what you want to pay for the services, and all proceeds will be donated to the charity.
