Your August Love Horoscope, Revealed

Get ready to relive the good old days. This August, romantic Venus is retrograde, making us all quite nostalgic. We could reconnect with an ex, search “the one that got away,” or take a heartwarming trip down Memory Lane with our mates. However, not all systems are go. While Venus is driving in reverse, we’re more likely to misconstrue people’s feelings. Is it a fling or the real thing? That won’t always be clear. But, remember, with Jupiter heading into precise, particular Virgo for a year on August 11, we can afford to be more selective. Only the best, dahhhlings, only the best.

Sagittarius Love Forecast

You’re hard to pin down this August, Sagittarius. With planets percolating in your independent, adventurous ninth house, you need an extra-long leash. Vacation romances? Yes, please. You don’t need a happily-ever-after in order to enjoy a magic moment. Cross-cultural connections heat up, too, so keep your ears perked for sexy accents. If you’re attached, take a fantastic voyage with your soulmate. Traveling together reboots your bond, especially before the 11th.

With Venus retrograde all month, you could hear from a long-distance love interest and quite possibly travel to see if the sparks are still alive. Nothing ventured, nothing gained — such is the Sagittarius mantra. Your ruling planet, Jupiter, moves into a more serious position on the 11th. Sparks could fly with someone established (who might even be a little older than you). And, you could make a love connection through work or team up with your sweetie on a moneymaking venture.

Your Beauty Forecast: A Tuxedo Cat-Eye
To get the look, start by blending taupe eyeshadow along and through your crease. Use a black liquid-liner pen to draw a typical cat-eye, extending the line out at the outer corner. Then, about two pen-widths below, draw a matching line out from your outer corner. Give your cat-eye major impact with a dash of bright white liner between your two black lines. To finish, coat your upper and lower lashes generously with mascara. Round out the black and white with glossy red lips and nails for colorful contrast.
