2-DacquoiseWe're about halfway through December which means Christmas is right around the corner. It also means you have a few more weeks before any serious diet plans take effect. If you're looking for a little pick-me-up in-between all your holiday shopping, head on over to Sable Kitchen & Bar on Saturday, December 25 for a special four-course Champagne and dessert pairing created by chef Heather Thehune and Piper-Heidsieck Champagne. We're (sugar) buzzing just thinking about it.

You'll start out with a couple of savory passed hors d'oeuvres and a welcome cocktail before diving into the nitty gritty: four decadent desserts (like that delish looking peanut butter and jelly dacuoise in the snap!), each perfectly paired with a different type of bubbly. The best part? This all-inclusive experience is only $25 per person and 100% of the proceeds benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Cheers to that!
