The best street style from Copenhagen Fashion Week. Photography by Jenny and Søren, Copenhagen Street Style

For the last few seasons, we've had our eye on all the emerging designers springing up during Copenhagen Fashion Week. But that's not the only place great fashion ideas are brewing. Copenhagen's streets are brimming with just as much original, remarkable style as the runways themselves. We asked photographers Jenny and Søren from Copenhagenstreetstyle.dk to get a closer look at who was wearing what during one of our top fashion weeks of the year. Here are our top looks as well as some insight from the shutterbugs on the loose...

About how many people are you shooting in a day? What's your strategy for finding people?
J: "We both have regular day-jobs (we actually have several each) so sometimes it's hard to find the time, and we've decided to focus on quality rather than quantity. There's a few street style-blogs out there that are really crappy and take pics of anyone and very randomly. After we got back from New York, we spent three months there this spring, we decided to make the site one of our priorities though."

What do you look for in a great picture? How do you try to differentiate your photographs from other street photographers?
S: "First and foremost we look at the clothes…they usually have a somewhat coherent style but we do make exceptions. As long as it fits the person and that the style has a purpose. Sometimes we see people in really cool clothes who look really uncomfortable or people who look really full of themselves and we always decide against taking their pics because we believe it shines through in a picture. It's really hard, maybe impossible to create a niche within street-style photos. There's just so many talented people like Hel Looks, Stil in Berlin, The Sartorialist, and Face Hunter, but to us street-style is about representing the city and its culture."
