Ruby Aldridge And Jamie Burke Show Off Calvin Klein, Their Way

We look for a lot in a brand—quality, time-lessness...but most importantly, we look to be able to make it our own. Enter Calvin Klein, which provides the building blocks for some major fall looks. We invited model Ruby Aldridge and musician Jamie Burke whose killer personal styles we already admire to take a look at the fall offerings and do 'em up, model-off-duty-style. With a little help from Refinery29 and men's style site VALET, we came up with our own Calvin Klein lookbook that feels super special, but still adaptable (in case you want to snatch up all the pieces!). Click through to see styling process and our special tricks to snazzing up fall basics.

A heavyweight blouse is the ultimate fall staple. For daredevils, choose one in a rad snake-print like Ruby and temper the pattern with a buttery pair of wide-legged corduroys.

A slim black suit could be just another nine-to-fiver's uniform, but gets a shot of British cool thanks to Jamie's tieless take - known in stylish circles as the air tie. "I still like to look smart, but I'm not really into ties," he says. "So I always wear the top button done up, with or without the jacket."

Wear your oversized knit vests like a dress by zipping it up and layering it over a silky blouse.

Forget your sweatpants and oversized hoodies - this - should be your weekend look. A knit poncho, cozy leggings, and shearling boots keep your casual look chic. Simple, subtle and sturdy, a pair of cap toe leather boots - in a range of colors from ruddy browns to jet black - can be your go-to fall footwear. "The boots are really cool," says Jamie. "Because they'll go with anything I'd wear." Pair them with everything from skinny jeans and trim cargos to flannel pants and even suits.

Pair a graphic top, like this two-tone zip-up sweater, with a crisp white shirt and mono-chromatic repp tie along with some washed denim and a pair of beat-up loafers for a contemporary twist on a traditionally collegiate look.

An update to the classic sailor's coat, the silhouette is slimmed down and the sleeves get swapped for charcoal grey. Flip up the collar - after all, it's meant to protect you from the elements - and reveal a hidden strip of the same grey wool. "I wear a lot of pea coats, and Calvin Klein always cuts theirs to fit perfectly," says Jamie.

Top it all off with a statement anorak. It's heavy on the warmth and style.

It's got all the rugged cool of a classic leather motorcycle jacket - the close fit, the asymmetrical jacket - in a gunmetal grey instead of the traditional black. What's more, the jacket's supple leather has been washed for softness and feels like you've had it for years.

On crisp autumn days, when the weather's too cool for chinos and you want an alternative to your daily denim, pull on a pair of corduroys. Ideally, ones that have already been broken in for you, like these trim fit washed cords, in a steely grey. Pair them with a T-shirt or sweater and throw on a rumpled jacket for an easy off-duty look. Mustard yellow is the color to buy for fall. Ruby played up the menswear feel with baggy trousers, but slipped into a ladylike pair of suede Mary Janes to keep things girly.
