RTX’s Jennifer Herrema and Volcom Team Up For A Rad Denim Collab

The elusive style of the underground rock scene can be hard to replicate. Unless you're riding around the country on a tour bus, the perfect mix of grunge and glam won't come naturally. Thankfully, legendary musician Jennifer Herrema of RTX has partnered with skate super-brand Volcom to create 13 one-of-a-kind pieces, a limited edition of 300 handcrafted pairs and three other variations of Volcom denim.
This So-Cal original has that hard rock swagger, denim-on-denim with heavy silver and navajo beaded jewelry look down pat, and her love of raccoon tail pre-dates Louis Vuitton's winter show. Using scraps from jeans that Herrema had been holding onto for years (fabric on some of the Volcom jeans came from a pair she had when she was 16) the collaboration is truly unique.
Some pairs include Herrema's signature accessory—a huge furry tail hanging off the waistband. Prices range from $64 for the Dep Relaxed Fit Short with roughed-up style to $255 for the V.Co-Op hand-crafted jean with unique details and patches on each pair.
