Add Sparkle To Your Weekend With Roslyn's Mineralogy Trunk Show!

MAIN
While we've already told you about some great ways to spend your weekend, there's another stop we suggest you squeeze into your jam-packed agenda. One of our fave Bucktown boutiques, Roslyn, is hosting a trunk show this Saturday for local jewelry designer Theresa Cowan, master of minerals.

It was an earth science class lecture that inspired the SAIC grad to start experimenting with minerals, which ultimately morphed into a thriving biz. We love how Cowan chooses to leave her pieces more on the uncut and unpolished side, thus showcasing the unique characteristics that make these minerals so cool to wear in the first place. And because you can't duplicate nature, each piece is truly unique — just like you.
Come meet the designer yourself and shop her new collection in addition to pieces she's created specifically for the trunk show. Spend over $100 and you'll be entered to win a pair of mineralogy earrings or a necklace — score! Of course, you're in Roslyn boutique, so you can match your new treasures with an ensemble from the carefully curated (read: amazing) selection of designer wares. And because it is the weekend, there will be sparkling (love it) wine for your sipping pleasure.
When: Saturday, August 18 from 1 to 5 p.m.
Where: Roslyn Boutique, 2035 North Damen Avenue (between Dickens and McLlean Avenues), 773-489-1311.
