There are many things to covet when it comes to model-cum-actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. There's her effortlessly chic style, her impossibly toned physique, her mile-long legs — and, you can't forget that glowing complexion. But, if we had to choose just one attribute to be the fairest of them all, it would absolutely be her hair: that gorgeous, immaculately highlighted, perfectly tousled mane.

Perhaps, that's why it came as no surprise when Moroccanoil announced that Rosie would be its first-ever celebrity ambassador. The news came at an event celebrating the brand's newest campaign, Inspired By Women, a series of short films, directed by Bryce Dallas Howard, that spotlights female entrepreneurs and activists.
I got the chance to ask Rosie about the women who inspire her — and managed to nab a few beauty tips in the process. Read on for her answers, plus her tips for getting the most likes on social media.
First off, I think you're a real pro at selfies. Do you have any tips for taking a good one?
"Good light and a good filter!"
Do you have a favorite?
"I use that app VSCO Cam. It's amazing! I love taking pictures — not just of myself, obviously. Selfies are so funny! It's such an interesting thing. I always feel like it's so narcissistic to post them, but people love them...We're the selfie generation."
Your hair is gorgeous. Do you have a favorite product from the brand?
"The Moroccanoil Treatment. It's how Moroccanoil got famous — their signature product. I actually used it as a body oil at first, and then found out you're not supposed to use it like that! But, they've just launched all these beautiful body products. There's this lotion in an orange bottle — the Intense Hydrating Treatment. It's like a gel, which I love, and it leaves a beautiful sheen."

The short films are about inspiring women. Is there a woman, celebrity or otherwise, who inspires your beauty look?
"When I think of the ultimate, iconic beauty, it would be Elizabeth Taylor. And, [as far as] modern-day goes, I think my heart skips a beat every time I look at Angelina Jolie. She's just getting more and more beautiful. And, as a person...all of her humanitarian work — she's someone I've always looked up to."
You're a staple at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. If — for some reason — none of the hair and makeup artists showed up before the show, which of the models would you choose to do the job?
"Oh, that's a good question! I'm actually pretty good at my own hair and makeup, I'd have to say."
So, you'd just do everyone's?
"No! (laughs) I would do my own. I think it would be every woman for herself in that instance!"
How do you pick your red-carpet looks? They're always so effortlessly glamorous and beautiful.
"Thank you! One of my best friends — Cher Coulter — is a stylist in L.A., and I've worked with her over the last few years on red-carpet stuff. For me, it's all about being comfortable, but glamorous at the same time. I never want to feel too stiff or stuffy, and I never want the dress to wear me. That's what I always go for...but I don't always get it right!"
Well, you always look incredible.
"I don't think so, but thanks so much!"

If you were running out the door and could only pick up one product to take with you for the day, what would it be?
"Powder."
That's interesting! A lot of people say "mascara" or "concealer."
"No, for me, it's powder. You don't want shine."
