Vogue has just posted the first official photo of their November issue featuring Rooney Mara. This is the star of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’s first time covering Vogue, but given the insane buzz around both her and the movie, we doubt it will be her last. Wearing a dress with a dragon embroidered on the back on the cover—how cheeky Ms. Wintour—the editorial is stunningly beautiful and haunting—we love the contrast of her pale skin, dark bowl cut bob, and orange lipstick. We're so used to Mara looking scary as hell and ready to beat us up that's it's kinda genius to remind us that she is indeed a one very glamourous chick. Of course, we highly recommend you get involved and read the accompanying article: She talks about her relationship with director David Fincher ("It’s fucking weird," says Daniel Craig), her love of “freaking people out,” and how she transformed into the iconic Lisbeth Salandar.
