What Is Happening In This Picture Of Mitt Romney?

Nothing prepares two fighters for a boxing match quite like gazing amiably into each other's eyes, right? If not, then it seems likely that the charity fight between former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and former heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield might not be the fiercest rivalry, but it's for a good cause.

The politician and the pro athlete will face off Friday in a match to benefit CharityVision, a group that funds medical care for the blind and vision impaired. The event is expected to raise $1 million, which could fund some 40,000 surgeries. Hopefully, the beneficiaries of the charity will have a chance to see this picture.

Unfortunately, in a replay of his fate in the 2012 election, Romney is not expected to pull off an upset victory. As he told The New York Times, "I expect to be beaten but unbowed." And, since the 68 year-old announced earlier this year that he's not planning on running for president again in 2016, he's had plenty of time to practice dodging punches.

"We will come in tuxedos," Romney told the Times. "Then I will change. My son has procured a red silk robe complete with hood. And I’ll have red silk shorts."
