Richard Nicoll

1. Music. "A Prins Thomas compilation called Cosmo Galactic. It's a really optimistic and eclectic selection of electronic tracks that are great for either background ambience or as the starring role at a party."
2. Film. "Control, the story of Joy Division lead singer Ian Curtis co-starring the actress Samantha Morton."
3. Theater. "I can't wait for the third part of choreographer Michael Clark's Stravinsky Project, which starts late October at the Barbican. The first and second part were the best dance performances that I've seen in years. Really pop-influenced, modern, brave, personal, and totally inspired."
4. Clothing. "I can't get enough of Acne Jeans menswear, which is designed by my college friend Christoffer Lundman. It's exactly what I want from menswear. Easy, good quality, and idiosyncratic."

5. Transport. "My new favorite mode of transport is my Brompton folding bike, which I bought recently and you can take wherever you go. You can ride to a party and take it home in a cab...genius!"
6. Website. Photographer Jason Evans's website features a photograph every day that cheers him up. Check it out in the morning over your first coffee of the day, it's a good way to deal with the daily trauma of getting a collection together."
