We all know it's almost Valentine's Day (seriously, love it or hate it, but like Karl Lagerfeld, the holiday is everywhere) and everyone's scrambling for a date. But, how do you define a DATE? Apparently the gossip queen herself, Blake Lively, said that she's never gone on a date. Really? Leo? Ryan? Anyone? Her excuse: "If I've ever had a man in my life, it's because I know him well, and he really means something to me."
But, can we blame her? Dating can be a real pain, especially in the city. While dates can be fun excuses to get dressed up and bond over some weird performance art piece, we say that one time you went out for burgers with a male companion can count as one too. Granted, it's not the most romantic tete-a-tete, but if he at least offered to pay for it, it's a date right? And okay, so maybe it's way more complicated than that. But just don't agree to "hang out" on Feb 14, unless you wanna slap a label on it (looking at you, Serena). (Gawker)
