Raving Mad: Hollywood Party People Protest Velvet-Roped Premiere

No true resident of Los Angeles is a stranger to being turned away from parties and clubs, but hundreds of ravers were apparently fed up with the velvet ropes after being denied entry to the invitation-only premiere of a documentary about the infamous Electric Daisy Carnival rave. Several hundred people, many in full-rave attire, took to the streets for an impromptu block party-slash-protest (ah, the democratic process!) outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre–an event that surely got as crazy as any of the EDC raves when partiers started vandalizing police cars, setting fires, and throwing bottles. This will definitely go down in history as the most passionate riot ever to erupt on the red carpet! (DailyMail)
