What do you expect the site to become? Did you expect it to make money?
Ilan:"We never expected to make as much money as we've made — it's wild!"

What did your mom say when you told her that this was what you were going to do?
Ilan:"Well, my mom had been sending me various GMAT literature, but once it reached a certain level of cultural clout, she stopped and just let it ride. In the beginning, it was just a passion/side/fun project — we never thought it would turn into a multi-million dollar enterprise."
Mahbod: "I lost my law firm job right before that — if I thought we were building a business, I wouldn't have gotten too worried, too upset."
