Tons Of Rad Pics From Rag & Bone’s New Store

So, we're gonna give it to you straight—Nolita's Café Colonial was one of our fave hangout spots in NYC and we're still desolate that's it's no more. But when it shuttered, we're glad they didn't try and replicate the brunch joint with another eatery. Instead, we're thrilled to be welcoming Rag & Bone to the 'hood. We got to peep the new store yesterday before its Friday opening, and it may be just as cool as the restaurant. Inside, the R&B boys kept some details of Colonial in a nod to the building's history with the same white tiled walls, smoky mirrors, and some exposed piping that reminds you Brazilian Beans were once part of the space. The 1,300 square foot boutique only carries the rag & bone/ lines (/JEAN, /SHIRT, and /KNIT), perfect basic essentials, as well as accessories from the main collection. The idea here is that the popular styles from the more expensive line are being reissued using different fabrics and colors at lower price points, and they'll continually be in stock. So, if some frat boy spills a Jack-and-ginger all over your denim button-down at Corner Bistro, replacing it won't shrink your wallet too much . The only thing that's missing from the airy corner space? A menu of course!
