Rad or Bad? Will Tiny Toppers Turn Us Into Mad Hatters?

Top hats and bowlers and boaters, oh my! From the red carpet to the runway, the mini hat has been popping up on the crowns of more than a few fab heads, including the new Lover lookbook and Marc Jacobs current collection, just to name a few. Also known as the cocktail hat, these miniature chapeaux were once worn at weddings and horse races to decorate a protesting hairdo. Lately, we've seen them on the likes of such fashion forward ladies as Alexa Chung in her campaign for New Look, but—though precious—these little guys have an uncanny ability to turn the best of quirky intentions into a circus costume. So, let us know. Are little hats the next big accessory? Or are they a big mistake?
