Rad or Bad? Fingerless Gloves Get a High-Fashion Upgrade

Calling all Material Girls: Fingerless gloves are on the rise yet again. The cut-off handwarmers have been associated with a motley crew of devotees over the years, including everyone from rough-and-tough bikers to Madonna wannabes circa 1984, but the accessory's fashion credibility got a boost when Karl Lagerfeld (a huge fan of the look) showed them on his spring 2007 runway. Since then, they've been spotted everywhere from C-list celeb ensembles to couture showcases, but we can't decide—even when done daintily, are fingerless gloves fit for a lady? Or should they stay in Hot Topic with the mall punks and chain wallets, where they belong?
