Need Nostalgia? Quarter Life Vintage & Nana Have You Covered

photo-15slide
"It's vintage" — one of the few phrases you can utter in this label-conscious world that makes you seem worldly and down-to-earth at the same time. Finding (and donning) a rad vintage piece means you have that oh-so-covetable gift of personal style, that you know how to take something old and make it look new, and, most importantly, that you can pull off a '50s taffeta gown without looking like a Mad Men extra.
Clearly, we're firm believers in the power of good vintage, and to us, every piece is like a best friend: unique, sometimes quirky, and always something we can appreciate. So, when we found out that Quarter Life Vintage was hosting a social shopping event at Nana tomorrow, we had to share. At Modern Vintage: Shop & Social, shoppers can preview Quarter Life’s favorite vintage spring looks, socialize with fellow secondhand-style connoisseurs, and get a snapshot taken in your pre-worn garb for Quarter Life’s “vintage appreciation” photo album. Sounds swell, right? We think so, too.
When: Wednesday, February 29, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m; RSVP here.
Where: Nana, 3068 Mount Pleasant Street NW; 202-667-6955.
