As founder and creative director (a title she shares with her husband, Jake), Pum spends her days dreaming up insanely gorgeous editorial shoots for Washingtonian Bride & Groom and the Washington Ballet, as well as overseeing graphic design projects for clients all over the world.
As for her style, she values comfort and creativity above all. "I'm a graphic designer first and foremost, but I've always had a love affair with fashion. Fashion to me is like an art form — and I like to experiment with my clothes the same way I would when painting a canvas. I like layering different pieces, mixing the un-mixable patterns, playing with color and scale, covering up – or being revealing. But nothing is more important than comfort; you cannot look good if you do not feel good. Pretty much, I know what I like, and I know what I don't. To me, perfection is when it's not too perfect."
Pum wears a Maison Martin Margiela coat, Splendid tee, Joseph pants, jewelry by Julie Wolfe, and boots by Marsèll.
