Pringle Of Scotland Celebrates Its 195th Birthday With Colette And Julien David Twinset

Out of the hundreds and thousands of fashion brands out there, Pringle of Scotland is the absolute oldest (save for John Smedley, which was founded in 1784), and to celebrate their 195th birthday, they've invited Colette and Julien David to participate in the "twin sets project" and create a cashmere cardigan and shell adorned with the initials of the tremendous trio. Julien repurposed his spring '10 motif of computer hackers—a problem, we'd venture, that the founders of Pringles never had to deal with. The set will cost you though, with both pieces totaling a hefty $1328.54. For that much money, you should probably demand that there's nearly 200 years of good stuff in it! (Colette)
