The Fake Freckles At Preen Are Spot-On

It turns out the faux-freckles trend is here to stay through at least another season. For all of you #blessed with spots from birth, feel free to roll your eyes. We get it: It's not a new phenomenon. But, it's being embraced like we haven't seen before. This past weekend at London Fashion Week, Preen brought the latest beauty fixation to a new level by dotting models of all shades.
Makeup artist Val Garland's inspiration was Maasai-warrior-meets-'80s-sporty, which came together for a minimal, natural look. She used MAC pencils in colors like mahogany, oak, stone, and coffee, along with the brand's Penultimate Brow Markers, to apply dots to the girls' faces and necks. Nichola Joss from St. Tropez continued the specks down the body, creating that sought-after sun-kissed feel (which is sadly fading with the end of summer). It's a stunning, youthful look that we're glad is getting some attention — even if it's in the form of an of-the-moment trend.
